New food of the week is
Pattypan SquashI tried growing it this spring but failed epically. So I bought a nice mess of the little alien spaceships at Central Market, sliced them, and fried them up with onions, bell pepper and Portabello mushrooms.
New food #2 of the week --
Portabello Mushrooms.
Awesome, both of them. But don't cook the part of the squash with mature seeds in it--it's worse than seeds in yellow squash.
