Dog Catcher in the Rye
by Ellen Riggs
Very good little cozy centered around a former executive in HR at a pretty large company who has suffered a bad head accident, which resulted in a change of personality and perspective. Sometime before the book begins she acquires a prescient border collie and a farm populated by rescue animals. And the story begins with her efforts to turn the farm into a bread-and-breakfast with farm animals as a selling point.
So she and a whole lot of people whom she knows or recruits or simply have business dealings with, populate the story. All those people are a little confusing, but the mystery is good and the humor strong. I enjoyed it lots! Want more.
