Mammoth in the Land of Ups and Downs, Day 5

This was the day I planned to do the Trail Ridge Road drive. It was cool beyond words! No animals were sighted, but we drove along the edge of mountains above treeline and saw some awesome scenery. Only pictures can explain.

A lot of fire damage on the southwest edge of the park.

That little bitty rock wall is on the edge of a very steep dropoff.
